Subject Code: EEN1026
Objective: To study the various types of transistors, the analysis techniques and their applications.
Pre-Requisite: EEN1016: Electronics I
Credit Hours: 3
Contact Hours: 53 hours (lectures, tutorials & laboratory experiments)
Assessment: Lab: 10%
Tutorial/ assignment: 10%
Test/Quiz: 20%
Final Examination: 60%

Details of Assignment: Example:
Title:Design of JFET, MOSFET and BJT Amplifiers
Objective:To enhance understanding of the subject in JFET, MOSFET and BJT Amplifiers.
Type: Paper design and simulation.
Description: Several design problems in JFET, MOSFET and BJT amplifiers design will be tested. Students need to design and use PSpice to draw and simulate the circuit; e.g. to obtain all the values calculated by performing transient analysis and the voltage gain by performing AC sweep analysis.
