Buddy Tutoring
Are you good in a certain subject and are passionate about helping your fellow students on the subject? We are pleased to announce a new round of Buddy Tutoring program in which you may contribute your knowledge/experience to assist your fellow students in their studies.
A buddy tutor basically helps during tutorial sessions or conduct extra classes for a small group of students. E.g. you maybe assist during a programming class, or help explaining concepts/theories after the normal tutorial sessions.
So, what are the benefits? You will be awarded a certification of appreciation by the Dean, earn some SAP points, and gaining some experience in teaching. More importantly, you may reinforce what you have learned earlier. As you know, the best test of whether you really understand a concept is trying to teach it to someone else.
In this trimester, we open the program for the following subjects.
