However, the sound recorder provided by the operating system may often not be good enough. For example, in a meeting, some speakers may be further from the microphone and sound softer. Power interruptions may cause unsaved data to be lost. Therefore, a more sophisticated recording studio software is needed. This software is capable of transforming a user's personal computer or laptop into a mini recording studio.
