This laboratory is used for general computing and for undergraduate student experiments in the field of Advanced Microprocessors and Micro Controllers.

Rules and Regulations:

Besides the General Rules of Labs and the Computer Utilization Policy, there are other specific rules that apply to this lab:

Students are required to write their particulars ( name, student identification number, pc number, log in time and log out time) in the Attendance Log Book when they use the computers or scanner in the lab.

No chatting and icq software (example: MIRC and ICQ) should be downloaded and used as this lab is for general computing purposes i.e. doing assignments, projects and browsing the web for information.

Pornographic materials are strictly forbidden - either through viewing, showing or downloading from the web.

The computer configurations (through the BIOS or deletions of system files) are not allowed to be tampered with.

Students must keep the lab clean at all times - No Food and Drinks are allowed.

All students must observe MMU Dressing code while in the laboratory.

All bags must be left at the indicated places.

Respect the laboratory and its other users. Noise must be kept to a minimum.

Students are strickly PROHIBITED from taking out any items from the laboratory without permission from the Lab Supervisor.

Please check the laboratory notice board regularly for any updates and announcements.

Safety Precautions:

Do not touch any exposed wires.

Do not unplug the cable while the power is switched on.

Do not wear long, loose ties, scarves or other loose clothing.

Make sure that long hairs are tied.
