The 3rd ASILS will be held between 3-5 July 2007 in Cameron Highlands, which offers an escape to an environment that is quiet, cool and close to nature.

Kuala Lumpur

                 Kuala Lumpur is situated midway along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia, at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers. It is approximately 35 km from the coast and sits at the centre of the Peninsula Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur is the largest city in the nation, possessing a population of over one and a half million people drawn from all of Malaysia's many ethnic groups. "KL" as it is commonly known, is the focal point of new Malaysia while the city's past is still present in the evocative British colonial buildings.

Cameron Highlands

            Cameron Highlands is situated in Pahang, the largest state in Peninsula Malaysia. Its exotic flora and fauna are an intrinsic part of the wild life and there is unspoiled beauty throughout the state. Fascinating places such as Cameron Highlands, Genting Highlands, Tioman Island, Taman Negara, Cherating and so on are perhaps nature’s gift to this rich varied scenery and landscape state. Cameron Highlands offers a memorable holiday with plenty of tea plantation, flower nurseries, fruit and vegetable farms, butterfly gardens, jungle walks in highland forest, and golf in cool and refreshing weather at altitude of more than 1800 meters above sea level.
